Wonderful
I enjoyed our stay at Jaz Makadi Saraya. The food was good. We were assigned to a relatively quite area, a bit shielded from the kids zone which is nice for us. The pools were well-maintained. It is a few minutes walk from the beach, but we did not find it inconvenient as the pool side was peaceful enough for us after a 10-day historical tour in Egypt. The management team was professional and responsive. I would come back again.
The service from some (only a few) staff at the beginning of our stay was not pleasant. We were Asians and I have noted feedback from previous guests about the potential discrimination. However, after communication with the managers it was improved. Suggestions to future guests - Speak up whenever you feel being treated differently in a negative way. If you are white - worry-free you will most likely have a very nice holiday here. To give an example, while we were resting under the parasols, the staff would greet and attentively ask for the needs of other guests whereas usually just walked past us. This did not bother me much since I did not mind to make the short walk to the bar. On the 3rd day it was improved I assume probably because they got notification that there are Asian females who do not take in discrimination in silence :). Overall, I still enjoyed my stay and would expect it being improved in the future considering the prompt response from the management team.

The place to stay!!
The staff was incredibly helpful and Mr Mina Magdi and his colleagues made our holidays perfect!!! The hotel is very clean and the facilities are amazing. We enjoyed the swimming pools, the beach, the great restaurants and an environment that made us feel in paradise. We will definitely repeat!!!

What was the highlight of JAZ Makadi Saraya Resort
Perfect Resort
Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort has been a wonderful experience. We stayed ten days, from the moment we set foot inside the resort we were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. The staff is wonderful and go beyond lengths to entertain their guests and make them feel comfortable in any way possible. Especially Mohammed and Samuel from the Sunflower Restaurant are amazing. The Resort offers a variety of a la carte restaurants. You get one free dinner per stay, we used ours at the Grill and it was great. The Sunflower Restaurant and Saraya Food Courts offer great food as well, so there is no need to go to one of the restaurants in order to enjoy fantastic food. The pools are nice, there is a daily entertainment program by the animation team. The team really does their best to engage people in the activities and make you smile. Special thanks to Claudia and Boody for the fun experiences like daily Aquagym and dances. There are evening shows with professional dancers which are a must see! We also enjoyed the drinks at the Resort. Great cocktails at the cozy Lobby Bar. On Monday and Thursday they serve champagne at the Sunflower Restaurant, which is a nice addition. The beach nearby is also top notch, with plenty of sunbeds and acces to food and clean sanitary. Bring your snorkeling equipment because there is plenty of reef close to the coast to explore. All in all we had a great stay and will recommend Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort to anyone who wishes to have a beautiful and relaxed holiday in Makadi Bay (Hurghada). We hope to visit again in the future!
