I would say that this place exceeded the expectations for a being a family friendly hotel the kids enjoyed their time and they had full program for the kids and a play area with many activities. I loved for this

I first stayed in 2009 and the only thing I do not like is I have no option to go any less than all inclusive.

I lose out because I cannot manage all the meals.

Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort has been a wonderful experience. We stayed ten days, from the moment we set foot inside the resort we were greeted warmly and immediately felt at home. The staff is wonderful and go beyond lengths to entertain their guests and make them feel comfortable in any way possible. Especially Mohammed and Samuel from the Sunflower Restaurant are amazing. The Resort offers a variety of a la carte restaurants. You get one free dinner per stay, we used ours at the Grill and it was great. The Sunflower Restaurant and Saraya Food Courts offer great food as well, so there is no need to go to one of the restaurants in order to enjoy fantastic food. The pools are nice, there is a daily entertainment program by the animation team. The team really does their best to engage people in the activities and make you smile. Special thanks to Claudia and Boody for the fun experiences like daily Aquagym and dances. There are evening shows with professional dancers which are a must see! We also enjoyed the drinks at the Resort. Great cocktails at the cozy Lobby Bar. On Monday and Thursday they serve champagne at the Sunflower Restaurant, which is a nice addition. The beach nearby is also top notch, with plenty of sunbeds and acces to food and clean sanitary. Bring your snorkeling equipment because there is plenty of reef close to the coast to explore. All in all we had a great stay and will recommend Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort to anyone who wishes to have a beautiful and relaxed holiday in Makadi Bay (Hurghada). We hope to visit again in the future!

Didn't hv a chance to like anything as I spent all the trip between the room and the doctor clinic

Worst experience ever. All the family had food poisoning because of the hotel food, me, my husband and by little daughter 1y.. we stayed all the trip in a horrible pain diahria and vomiting, we paid 5500 for 3 nights and 1000 for the doctor and the medication there. The hotel didn't even care

The food though variable plates but not good tasting ... I really recommend paying attention to that point to make the hotel more than perfect

It was our 2nd time over 2 months, me and my family enjoyed our stay as usual in the resort. Everything was great starting with Check-in till check-out. Great room view , delicious food , smiley staff, energetic animation team. Of course we will come back next August. I would like to thank Mr. Moustafa Thabet for his welcoming and efforts to enjoy our stay there. Thanks Saraya Team ! :)

As a group of 6 friends travelling, our stay was very enjoyable! We were warmly welcomed, the place is cosy and modern, Restaurant and food are excellent in terms of variety, quality and quantity. The lobby bar opens for 24/7 which was great, Shisha bar for night entertainment was nice as well and the entertainment team was friendly. We were luckily upgraded to junior sweets with pool view and given a free access to Makadi Water World (It's normally not included), Thanks to the nice staff. There are variety of available stores outside the hotel so you can get anything you may need.

Fitness center (Gym) is not in the hotel (Jaz Saraya), you get an access to Jaz Oasis which isn't very far but a 6 mins walk from the lobby. SPA is for additional charge. LA LOCA (Disco) charges for the drinks after 12:00 AM Beach is about 8 mins walk from the lobby, it's a sandy one but with no coral reefs to watch.

The staff are just perfect ... specially chef ahmed and chef ezzat .. also mahmoud and mahmoud at the reception .. actually the staff seeks pleasing all the guests although i was very disappointed from the food quality and types .. but actually they considered that and chef ahmed made food specially done for my son every day through mu whole stay.. and chef ezzat invited us to Sofra resturant and it was more than perfect .. the stay was just pleasant because of the staff who were doing their best to satisfy our needs and to make us have a nice vacation also the pool was good as it was heated .. and at the shisha place mostafaaa was perfect .. when i arrived i needed a room without stairs they kindly upgraded my stay from family room to a royal suit with no extra charge .. and i couldnt thank them enough for that .. the best part of the stay is the perfect staff

Food was awful regarding the quality on the buffet (all inclusive) breakfast was good but lunch and dinner wasnt good as food quality and selection .. also the food selection serves mostly germans as most of the guests where germans . Also the restaurant at the pool was very bad .. worst panee chicken and burger i ate in my life .. also the furniture was so old... and the ac .. they need to upgrade it ..

We enjoyed every single day in this amzaing hotel. The staff is so welcoming, food is so tasty, the pool and beach are very relaxing and whole stay was super amazing.

It was our first time for our family to stay in "Makadi Saraya Resort". Actually, the resort is full with energetic staff, all of them were welcoming our family (6 Adults & 3 kids). Overall the amazing staff really tried to fulfill our requests. They are smiley, very friendly, and professional wherever they are in the resort. Our family really enjoyed the vacation and decides to come back to resort next June. I would like to give spacial thanks for "Mr. Moustafa Thabt" (Front Office Assistance Manager)for his welcoming.

1. Nice private beach area which is clean and All-Inclusive bars are located very close to the sun loungers. 2. There are 2 coral reef mini islands, very close from the beach. You will definitely enjoy swimming there. 3. Music shows every night, you won't get bored. 4. Very friendly staff at the restaurants. Head chef sent u a complimentary basket of fruits. 5. All inclusive: alcohol is strictly local, I recommend to drink only red wine and lager. Food is ok, variety of options, we didn't have any problems with our stomachs. Mainly concentrate juices and usual soft drinks.

1. Staff at the reception is the worst. They try to get rid of you as fast as they can. When we just checked in, we were given room with joined single beds instead of booked double bed. Despite the stupid reason that they gave us, we managed to get a Pool view room. 2. Smelly bathroom since there was no bathroom fan but simply a vent hole. One could hear people talking from the other room when in bathroom. 3. Beach was 8 minutes walk since the private beach area is not located exactly at the hotel but shared with other Jaz group hotels. So if you see the same beach picture from different Jaz hotels at Makadi bay, don't get surprised, it is simply shared.
